That stuff says use 3-400g powder and add 4kg sugar. That amount of sugar is to make a 10/11 % apple wine according to the destructions so a couple of kg for cider. This powered stuff... I've read is what they use to make some types of concentrated apple juice. by using powder you should be able to...

Folks I've inherited a drinks reg http://www.brandels.co.uk/image/cache/data/Michael%20new/REGODL01S-320x248.jpg Discoverd its sold as a soft drinks reg. The regs were set damn high 60 psi and 40 psi when I got it but it seems to adjust down low ok. Are these perfectly ok to go with corny kegs / bee...

I've had a couple of the cheap plastic jobbies, they both snapped. The last one turned into rubber when heated about 60C. Beer mixing paddle / spoon

Those cheap plastic beer paddles are cack for mixing AG . They snap and bend when hot.

Does anybody know where to buy a decent stainless or plastic paddle that won't cost the earth?

Your not going to get a really light lager without controlling the temperature of your Fermentation vessel. Aye you need to take a Hydrometer reading and ensure it's below around 1012

else.

Wait 10 days and then bottle.

and Only use 1/2 a teaspoon per pint bottle.

Gelatin before or after cold crashing?

I have cold crashed a beer in the brewfridge for a week , and wish to add some Gelatin to quickly sort out some cloudiness.

Will adding Gelatin now to the beer work as well as it would prior to cold crashing?
