It’s looking around end of October so don’t worry about timing . You will get a result back for each sample you send . You can send as many samples as you like , cost is looking at £10 per sample ( if we get 50 samples ) .

Alpha acid analysis
Would anyone be interested in getting there homegrown hops analysed for alpha acids ? I managed to get a lab to carry out the analysis for a reasonable cost approx £10. We would need roughly 50 samples which are dried and vacuums packed to make it cost effective. Let me know if you are Interested .

I re wired it to match the pics above . Live is now on the right as you look at it . Neutral is left and earth is central. I just wire the plug as normal now as long as it’s 13a fuse ? Anyone got any recommendations where to buy a locking nut ?

Thanks for this , it’going to be approx 10L batches . So boils should be ok. Yes I’m going to wire as above and have fitted with a 13a plug .

The rating is 1.5kw . I knew live wa a middle and I assumed live had to be right or I would have to cross the wires in a standard cable . What do you mean by live /line must be switched at a minimum?
