Cleaning lines?
I've recently built myself a 2 keg kegerator, and am currently drinking beer from one of the kegs (not made anything to put in the other one yet). I was wondering what people do to clean their lines, and where you buy your cleaning products from. Thanks in advance.

I typically make 20L batches, and follow the Shaken not Stirred method for making starters. I'll use a 1L starter prepared the previous day for any batch up to 1.055, and a 2L starter for anything over, pitching the full volume into the wort at high krausen. I've not used it myself, but there is a commercial brewery in Cheshire which uses it in one of it's beers. Off the top of my head, I can't remember which though.

WLP530 (Westmalle) is my favourite yeast for abbey styles. I like WLP540 too, but it can be finicky in comparison with WLP530.

I'm not sure that what you are describing is a wild yeast infection. I had one once, and the taste is very distinctive (although of course this could vary); burnt rubber, medicinal, very phenolic. Seems like you're on your way. Good luck! Just a minor point - alpha acid is a measure of the bittering potential, and is almost completely disconnected from aroma/flavour. I have the new control box - I think it is worthy of the extra dosh as it does open more options for brewing. They are currently having issues with the Android app but the Apple version works fine apparently. Very useful. Be warned if you have an older Apple device, it uses Bluetooth v4.1, so won't...

You could try a teaspoon of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in your priming solution. I've only done this once, but it prolonged the hop aroma of a NE IPA I made. I forgot to add it in the following batch I made, and the hop aroma faded a good deal quicker.
