Re: Plate Chiller ?

There's probably few more details I guess, the element dispels a few myths I recon. I have a 165kw 40 plate chiller, got it as is longer, maybe bit of an overkill for 9 gallon, don't have a hop filter to slow it down but still struggle sometimes to pump it through fast enough. 5-8 mins I g...

I use a 350mm diameter pot, I don't pickup at the very bottom and use a 10mm copper tube for the 'jetting'. A dark brew I just finished, so doe...

Re: Malt Miller / Neals yeast

Might not be repacked. The rest is debatable at the least, there's probably a micro-biologist somewhere to clear it up without it turning into a big flame of speculation.

Re: Malt Miller / Neals yeast

A while ago a certain dried yeast manufacturer (not danstar) got their panties in a ruffle as people were repacking their yeast and refused to supply, or something like that. Maybe less said the better! Tried the Saison, thought it was great (bit more testing to do), always up for dried yeast if it ...

Re: Gas ring Woes

Don't really have any idea, all I know is you can have the same burner, as pic or similar, but for natural gas or LPG, like when we converted to natural gas many moons ago and a man came round and changed something. All I know is I'm drinking Pims and lemonade and feeling rather upper class old chap...
