Does cider produce a krausen?

Just making my first cider kit (Youngs peach & passionfruit) thanks to a raffle prize at the Homebrew festival :)

The airlock is bubbling nicely to show that fermentation is active but there is no layer foam on top that you get when making beer.

Using Cellotex/Kingspan seconds or building left overs are a great way insulate a custom built cabinet. Material is the same as used in the walls of the fridges and freezers. Normally you can purchase in advance and get a discount.

Using a Monster Mill - MM2
Very pleased as it goes thru 12/13kg grain in 10mins with a cordless Dewalt driving it.

Now busy planning to motorise the beast.

Last years LAB event had about 150 entries which we just about managed to handle. If this was to increase to 300 then we would have a problem. It really helps if people gets entries registered on the website well ahead of the date to allow us to gauge demand for the various resources - Judges being ...
