I,m gonna be busy reading over the next few weeks, all these new agreements, either I will, or you are agreeing to this new data thing. Should be a good thing, dumping a few things that make it almost impossible to dump. Re minds me of most mornings while sitting on the throne, and reading the daily digest.  :=P

Jim, the link in your email didn't get me here, it got me to a Send Mail To Admin page. Maybe it's my browser, but...

The ads seem to have become, all of a sudden, larger and more obtrusive. Is that connected to this agreement?

Also, the agreement is full of html errors. What's “%1$s” ?

This is nevertheless in accordance with me belief that "anything not worth doing is not worth doing well". :)
Secondary FV: "Old 11-ish", ginger braggot, ~11%
Bottle aging: Pineapple melomel, small batch, ~8%
Drinking:
1. "Paradise" dry mead. Florida orange blossom honey 1.074, 9.8%
2. "Mooshti", Turbo cider small batch, with crystal malt. 6.5%
3. "Don't Bring Me Down", 6%, spruce beer
4. "Khamsa": ancient ale. Honey, dates, 5 grains, 7%, 32 BU
5. "Comin' Thro' the Rye" 1.069, 6.9%, 34 BU

Strange. The link was definitely to this topic - I've just checked the text. Anyway, anyone who regularly logs in is safe from deletion, so you're OK. :)

EDIT: Did you click to the link to contact the webmaster? The actual link is in plain text (not sure how that happened) in the body of the message.

Ads- no, that's a google adsense thing. It should only be bigger on mobiles, and I agree it's a pain - use an adblocker if it bothers you.

html - sorry, that's my laziness - I just cut and pasted from the agreement that pops up in the registration page.

Well, I cocked that up! Forgot to remove the server flood limit and I'm having to send it out again. Only the first 100 people will get duplicates though.

Been away for a while so the email prompt was good. I've not had time for brewing much the last couple of years, what with house moves and stuff, but clearing out the shed in the next couple of weeks so hope to get back at it before autumn. Good to know my account is intact for the moment Jim! 8-[

Nice to see you back! :)

Maybe all this GDPR bollox will have a positive effect by reminding old members that we're still here!

All of these user agreements are boring but at the same time quite useful for getting rid of places you don't visit any more.

As you can see I still visit this place :D
