I know I've a lot to learn as yet about AG brewing, but, I'm pretty sure the forum sub-heading contains a typo.

Corn etc are sometimes known as grits.

They need a cereal mash; I think Bud uses them in a high proportion. Flaked maize can be used as a substitute and added directly to the mash

Grits are on the breakfast menu in in the States, ground corn kernels boiled in milk or water sort of like porridge.

Also an American expression for coarsely ground grain

Grits,thats slang word for pants aint it.How about this 80% pale with 20% grits to impart a slightly chocolate flavour :wink: .
