Simpsons Heritage Crystal Malt

Has anyone used it, and if so, what did you think of it?

I'm intrigued by the description, "...does not impart that typical cloying sweetness, the sweet notes are far more subdued and reminiscent of pie crust."

I'd assume so, but probably obscure for homebrewers. It's made in Northumberland right? It seems odd they'd sell it in USA and Australia but not at home...

Googling only finds foreign suppliers, mostly in the US. It is on Simpsons UK malt list so perhaps someone will start stocking it here.
