What is your favourite English hop variety, and what is your favourite way to use it?

Discuss. Recipe details welcome.

EKG.
Quintessentially English.....incredibly versatile. Great as a single hop and blends well with many other hop varieties.

Not sure, close call, I like ekg, first gold, northdown, bramling x, challenger, but there are lots I've not tried. I had a pint of cask conditioned single hop blonde ale with Pilgrim last week, which was delicious. Reminded me how good an all English ale can be. Will be getting some Pilgrim for sure.

Challenger is my favourite as it can work for anything, in anything, and at 9%AA it's efficient for bittering additions unlike most English hops.

But I always like to dry hop English Ales with some form of Goldings too.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

I really like target. Bit of a boring choice but the depth of flavour you get from it is really complex.
Cheers and gone,

I just love Fuggles, especially done at low IBU's with emphasis on flavour additions in the hop schedule of a bitter with lashings of crystal malt in the bill.

I think Challenger is a pretty decent aroma hop. York Brewery's Yorkshire Terrier is a very good ale that is single hopped with challenger.

Did not know that. Terrier is an amazing pint.

Might order some Challenger soon!
