Post by Duncndisorderly » Sun Jul 13, 2014 10:55 am

Hi folks, just a quickie. I have the following hops which i intend to use all of in the brew i have on at the moment but Im not really sure which order to add them and at what time interval although i am leaning towards the first addition at 40 minutes remaining and the second addition at 20 minutes along with the irish moss.
I have 3 oz of Northdown 9.6 ibu, 4 oz of fuggles 3.2 ibu and 2 oz of cascade unknown ibu but there only for aroma at the end.

any suggestions apreciated

It depends on the rest of the recipe. What type of beer are you trying to make? What malt are you using and what is your target gravity? But generally for a pale ale, I would bitter with northdown or fuggles at 60 mins, then throw the cascade in at flame out.
