Do Centennial/Cascade/Amarillo work well together?
Do Centennial/Cascade/Amarillo work well together?
Anyone brewed with these 3? I'm wanting to dry hop a Wilko Golden Ale.

I hope so. I did a heavily hopped Amarillo & cascade ale last weekend. Not used Centennial though.

Yes is the simple answer. Cant go wrong with these three really in any combination. Centennial aka super cascade is one of my favourites. Enjoy!

Sounds good. What quantities are you thinking of? I am thinking of doing a golden ale myself next...

Cascade and Centennial play well together. Amarillo is way too "catty" to be used in any of my beers.

23l brew...I've already done a hop tea of 20g of First Gold for bittering (and it used up a bag so I can fit new hops in the freezer!). I'm thinking 20g Amarillo and 25g Centennial Dry Hop.Digby wrote:Sounds good. What quantities are you thinking of? I am thinking of doing a golden ale myself next...
