Post by mrcpea » Mon Sep 08, 2014 6:07 pm

Hi,
Seen these on eBay and was thinking of getting a packet to dry hop my coopers english beiier. The pack contains only 12g. Will this be enough?
Anyone used these before?

Hi mrcpea,

That's mad money for 12g of hops (about 30 quid for 100g !).
100g vacuum packed pellets at themaltmiller or worcesterhopshop or a whole bunch of other online retailers would cost you about the same (or less) as those 12g.

For a first time dry hop (in 23L) anywhere from 10 - 25g would be reasonable as a first try... Personally I use up to 150g but that's with american hops.
