Kazbek?

Post by Ren » Sun Jun 07, 2015 6:20 pm

Has anyone tried Kazbek hops? I would like to try them in Pilsner but don't want to drink citrusy pilsner.
I have seen them on brewuk website and it says: ''Expect more spiciness and more earth in your Pilsner or Saison. If you brew with Saaz frequently, you’ll love this hop.''
Although i read on http://www.bohemiahop.cz/varieties/kazbek :''Kazbek as a flavour variety with citrusy aroma is reccomended for the second hopping and cold hopping. Very good for IPA style beers.''

A bit of a contradiction here?

Hi don't know if this will help exactly, but here's a link to a post I made about a smash beer I did with Kazbek hops.

Cheers,
