Oh no.........Wilingham hops selling up business

Post by Wonkydonkey » Thu Jul 09, 2015 7:55 pm

I just got an email from willingham hops. He's selling up and retiring.

Here's the email.

Willingham Nurseries has been supplying hop rhizomes and plants to customers all over the world for many years. I have run the business as a one man operation since 1989, specialising in hops for the past 10 years. Now is the time for me to retire and so the business must be sold. The entire operation could be relocated to anyone who knows how to propagate plants and has half and acre of land and if anyone is interested please contact me for further details. If there is no single buyer then all the stock is available for the best offers. Please email me your offers for anything - I will hold any offers until the end of August and then notify successful purchasers at the beginning of September. Obviously some of the mature plants are heavy and shipping could prove expensive but I will do my best to minimise costs.

Details of what is for sale is here http://www.willingham-nurseries.co.uk/business.html

Please send your offer(s) or enquiries to mike@willingham-nurseries.co.uk

Thank you for your business over the years and it has been a pleasure to share your hop growing experiences from Iceland to Japan and from the USA to Russia (and everywhere inbetween!)

Regards

Mike

Yeah, I got the same one. Just wondering how many plants I can realistically afford & actually have somewhere to plant! Assuming it's not taken over...
