Hi everyone! Ok so thats a great start response wise!

I reckon we are 2/3rds there towards pushing the order button. I'm going to give it a few more days to see what other responses come in.

Allocations will be first come first served. I'm going to try and get 5kgs of each variety listed below. Only 3 bags of Summit left already.

More takers for Magnum or Northern Brewer would be help, these are great clean bittering hops for you 60min additions, meaning you can save your best hops for aroma/dry hopping!

Price per 500g bag - All pellet
Hops - Alpha - Country - Year
Cascade 5-9 USA 2015 £16
Again do these need an explanation?! Lychees Floral Grapefruit
Ahtanum 5-8 USA 2014 £17
Used lots by Brewdog, similar to cascade Floral Citrus Lemon
Summit 13-15 USA 2014 £12
Big American hop, great in IPAs, Pink Grapefruit Orange (this is a personal fav of mine, amazing big orange flavor, great in IPAs and dry hopping)
Magnum 11-15 GER 2015 £11
Great neutral bittering hop, use everywhere! Resinous Herbal Pine
Northern brewer 11-15 GER 2015 £11
Well-rounded bitterness and a full, woodsy aroma of pine and herbs. See Anchor Steam beer.

Delivery charges (@cost sent via myhermes)
0-1kg £2.78
1-2kg £3.78
2-5kg £5.79
I am not a Beer expert.....thats exactly the point.

I assume these prices are inclusive of VAT? And of course you are VAT registered in order to be selling a non VAT product to consumers on a retail basis? Just asking!

There's always one

You only have to register for vat if your taxable business supplies pass 82k on a 12 month historic basis, or are expected to pass that in the next 30 days. Increasing to 83k from next week.

This is unlikely to pass that level, even if it counts as a business.
Ready to go: Malt extract, grain, yeast and a freezer full of hops.
Fermenting: Nowt.
Conditioning: Nelson's Revenge.
Drinking: Stop Wining, Firsty Gold, DarkMun, Yankee, Porter, ApAht, Cider, Mead, Tripel, Elderflower beer, Gluten Free, beer, wine, port, gin, beer, wine, port, gin...

It isn't a business at all. It is a small group of lads on a forum getting together to buy hops at wholesale prices. There isn't any profit and the hops are sold to the forum member managing all the distribution inclusive of VAT.

I totally agree, this isn't a VAT level of operation, but there is a mark up being made on the hops. For example, the Magnum are £7.38 per kg from Simply Hops, the above price is £22 per kg, £2.20 per 100g. Worcesterhopshop is charging £2.40 for 100g of 2015 crop. I don't begrudge someone taking a bit for themselves for doing a lot of re packaging and posting but I'm not attracted to the offer. Rather have 5 x 100g packs of different hops for slightly more cost, personally.
