Dry Hopping with Pellets

Post by Caddarn » Mon Sep 21, 2015 7:37 pm

I'm looking for some advice on the best way to go about this... I've read that dry hopping with leaf is pretty straight forward, boil muslin bag to sanitise, add a sanitised marble and your hops and drop it in the FV.

I've also read that pellets pretty much disintegrate and as I have no way to cold crash I reckon it's going to be a pain to syphon into my bottling bucket.

Any tips gratefully received!

I put them in a fine drawstring bag that has been boiled, with three glass marbles which also get boiled.

Before bottling I also squeeze the bag out, to get all that hoppy goodness out.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.
