Newbie Question

Post by bitterjohn » Sun Oct 11, 2015 10:00 pm

Hi to you all, =D> I have only ever added a Brupak Ale & Lager Flavapak to my brews. What is best? do I use LEAF HOPS or PELLET HOPS? :?: I would normaly use a sanitized muslin draw string bag to primary _ or is there any other way, without too much fuffing about boiling, seeping and so on ? so that I can add a little more flavour to my KIT BREWS ? - PLEASE

If you are making Kits, have you read the `Kit Brewing Questions and Answers` Thread?
Loads of good info on there!
Type in the `Search` box if you are still stuck.
Ask your questions in the `Kit` thread and you will soon get a reply! :D

I add my pellet hops straight into the primary just when the ferment begins to subside. So - when it's still foamy as hell. I chill to near freezing after around 5 days and they fall to the bottom of the fermenter. The outlet off tap is high enough to leave it all behind. You don't need muslin bags with pellets.
