Maybe with hot wort, but it seems like an unnecessary risk.

Yes, it's a bit of wasted effort sanitising anything that touches wort before the boil. The only things I tend to sanitise on brew day are: the tap on my boiler (I take it apart, make sure the innards are clean and squirt in some starsan), the hose I use to go from boiler tap to fermenter, and the fermenter itself. Oh and my oxygenation wand.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

I just received one of these from Brewbuilder today which I plan to use at the weekend with my new Oxygen set up (Kudo's to your thread on it). Do you boil yours before and after use? Anything else I should look out for?
