Target with Northern Brewer

Post by Rusticus » Sat Nov 26, 2016 7:28 pm

I have some Target and Nothern Brewer which I need to use up, if I use Target for bittering and Northern Brewer for flavour/aroma will I end up with something drinkable?

Certainly would. However I would go for a good best bitter, nothing too pale. FWH the Target as it can be a little harsh.

Can't be arsed to keep changing this bit, so, drinking some beer and wanting to brew many more!

Thanks for the info.
I will be brewing later in the week, I have used them both before but not together.

Well, this is not going to happen. When I opened the packet of Target to use as first wort hops I realised why they were cheap. Well past using, wife walked in to room and said "baby sick".

Hasty visit to the freezer to find something else. Ended up with Challenger and Styrian Goldings. All is not lost.
