Keyworth midseason

Post by sbond10 » Tue Dec 19, 2017 9:17 am

Any one used these hops before got 100g to play with. Any recipe suggestions greatly welcome.
Apprently they were breed as a replacement to fuggles and give blackcurrent flavours.

Used them a few years ago now. But as with any hop I'd not used before it was a single hop pale. A very pleasant hop as I recall, nothing at all like a Fuggle though and a far superior variety to the Keyworth Early. I must have liked it otherwise I wouldn't have contracted for 10kgs from Farams this year. ;)
Single hop malt bill was 85% Pale, 10% Munich, 5% Flaked barley.

Can't be arsed to keep changing this bit, so, drinking some beer and wanting to brew many more!

I came up with the following hop bill
20g admiral 90 mins
20g keyworth mid 15 mins
30g key worth 0 flame out

Is that enough i have 100 g to play with
