Jelly babies

Post by MashBag » Sat Nov 19, 2022 7:21 am

I can't think of anything else to call them.

Instead of using a hop seive during boil I have (couple of times) tried hop additions with the tie up teabags. Same hops.

Both times I have discovered amber colour jelly babies being formed, that fall to the bottom of the kettle into the trub.

Anyone else had this?

Thought this might help. These have survived washing under running water.
