Yeast starter is always good. I use this method - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=70926&hilit=shaken+stirred

Made up a 2L one last night for my brew tonight. Will use most of it and save some in a jar in the fridge to be used for my next brew/yeast starter.

Yes, although with dried yeast its generally better to use two packs than make a starter. Doubly so in this case where speed is important, don't want to be waiting for them to multiply before pitching.

True, sorry forgot it was dry yeast OP was using, my bad.

just Rehydrate some yeast
will let you all know how things go
the wort is at 20c at moment
