Hi Guys!
I've booked Wednesday off for my landlord to come and repair my boiler but I've fixed it!
So now I'm thinking i'll do a brew instead and need a starter made.
I normally make a starter the week before but now I have 3 days!
The yeast is in a jam jar, kept from the last starter I made, can I just make up 2.5l of wort and add the yeast and leave it in my fermentation fridge until Wednesday?
I'm gonna use WLP004
Cheers!

Re: Quick starter needed
Using shaking not stirred or stir plate method, either should produce a nice starter by wed if you start now and step up each day.
it may work if you add all the wort, but better to do instages so not to stress the yeast too much
150ml of wort and your starter first day, then next day bump up wort to 1000ml and next day bump up wort to 2,5L.

Second the SNS method. So much easier just making a starter the night before I plan to brew.
