Fresh yeast

Post by neil smith » Fri May 12, 2017 9:50 am

Hi all,
If anyone wants some FREE fresh yeast I normally have surplus to my needs, I am in Essex and you can phone me on 07850867320 . It just seems a waste to throw good yeast away and once you use fresh you won't want to go back to dried it starts a lot faster and will ferment faster.
Cheers Neil.

I'm going back ... I going to use my "emergency" pack of Gervin in my next brew that has been sitting in the fridge and was best before last October. Waste not, want not :)
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

About 2 miles towards Billericay from where I am. Bellhouse Brewery.

I've never tried the beer though, have to track it down. The Fox and Hounds might be A good place to start.

Hi,
I am in ramsden bellhouse, give me a buz if you want some as just skimmed so have lots at the present time, the yeast is originally from crouch vale and farmers also use it and that's where I get mine if I don't brew for a couple of weeks.

Neil

Yes you will find bellhouse blonde on all the time in the fox and hounds and bellhouse brunette alternates with doom bar, come and try it and see what you think.

Won't be brewing for a couple of weeks but if you have some available then I would be interested. I work in Wickford so could pop over easily.

No problem, give me a buzz when you need it as I'm not always on here.
