Cheddar Ales

Anyone used yeast from this extensive range of bottle conditioned beers ?

Never even heard of them but they've been going since 2006, which makes me think they probably use commercially available yeast so there's probably not much to be gained beyond saving some cash.

Agree with RobP. If they maintained (or had a lab maintain) their own strains, they'd probably have more to say about it on their web site than:

"It is now that we add yeast to our wort ".

Perfectly valid using bulk dried yeast, but I wouldn't add it to my list of bottled yeasts to harvest.

They're quite local to me. I've had a few of their beers and would buy again.
