Cool - it's now all in a 5L plastic container and a new batch kicked off using 1/2 the "plant" from the initial one.

That's the way,what you could do ,is every time you split the plant give it to one of your friends,and tell them to give half to their friends and so on ,before you know it the whole country will be ginger beer monsters :shock:

I think if I was to make ginger beer again, I would increase the amount of ginger. For me it just wasn't firey enough.

The plan for me was to do a mix of fresh and ground, maybe a tspn of each per day to see what that was like....
