My TC's have all been around 1.0045 OG but i have not yet done a hybrid which i guess probably has a higher starting OG.
Good luck.

My Samson's West Country Cider plus eleven litres of apple juice started at 1.050.

That was with apple juice with 112g of sugar per litre.

Standard Black Rock kits with 1kg dextrose are more or less... refer's to notes... OG 1045. All 3 times so far. All 3 finished at 1006. Giving me a nice sweet cider(i brewed mine at 24-26C) at ABV 5%.

I've recently done a batch made up to 26 litres for the ladies at our wedding. I'm that impressed with my previous ones that i know a slightly weaker, well carbonated version would go down well with the ladies.

I will always make these kits as i can't buy anything here even close. 8)

By taste an guesstimate of sg looking like somewhere in the region of 7% which should be pleasantly inebriating,

Thanks for the help guys
