tc success!

I was so annoyed that I'd accidentally used bread yeast again that this second try at cider got ignored completely (like a naughty child :) ).

Put it to cool yesterday and tried it tonight - now I get why it's so popular! Clear, clean tasting and appley, and 68p for nearly a litre. Can't price up the yeast as it was best before 2005!

As long as it worked leave it a couple of weeks and it will be even better :D

I opened a bottle of TC I made in January the other day and it certainly does improve with time.

Mine gets put out in the cold to clear once fermented (about a week) and then sits in bottles for a fortnight before I get near to it (therefore tipping my hat at maturing it...).

Only takes three weeks before you have a rolling supply

Currently about to bottle my TC "Fat Pig" - 4.5ltr AJ, 650 gm honey, 50 5m raisins. Currently 12%; am looking forwards to that one!
