Where are all the winos ?
Where are all the winos ?
Thanks all for the help so far.
Thing is, everyone seems to be into beer, so where are all the winos then ?
Stagger over here and say hello, 'C'mon the Winos !

*waves hand* I brew anything I can, which is currently beer, cider from kits and apples, mead and wine made from anything and everything. Wines on the go at the mo are: apple (x4), peach, Tesco red grape juice, Tesco blackcurrant cordial, Jasmine tea and hop wine. The Jasmine tea wine smells bloody marvellous!
Hi guys, so we are all fairly new to the site, cant stand all those lager louts on here,
Lets get a wino gang together eh !
Brewed wine many years ago in demi johns, but it got harder all the time to find H.B suppliers, I thought it was all finished, so hail wilkos and morrisons eh.
Doing an Italian red at the mo.
Best wine I ever tasted was Elderberry. Thing was, we had an Elderberry tree in my mums garden for 30 odd years that went to waste.
If only I knew then what I know now !

Might have something to do with the name of the forumcelt wrote: Thing is, everyone seems to be into beer
My dad used to make elderberry wine (and blackberry also) - I have numerous childhood memories of standing by the side of dual carraigeways picking elderberries & blackberries from the bushes at weekends.celt wrote: Best wine I ever tasted was Elderberry. Sadly as I was young I wasn't allowed to try the wine
I'm liking the sound of Sir Bob , Earl of knottingleyDaaB wrote:Lockwoods forum does specialise in wines and he's recently passed his judges exam so you can call him Judge Lockwood or Sir if you prefer
If you do pop in, don't forget to come back, we'll save a seat for you
and dual membership of both forums is juuuust fine

Hello fellow Winos,
Lockwood, never been to a morrisons, so would not know, some one on here mentioned they stock it, but it seems you have stopped me making an unnesasary journey, where do you get your kits from then ? will check out your forum defo.
Is 1956 your d.o.b ?
Steve, you may have something there. Sure your names not Sherlock ?
Hi again Daab, I think Cider is the Devils brew. though I used to love the stuff.
I remember talking to an old guy in a pub in cornwall, he had moved there from Devon. He reckoned that the Cornish people were "Dead from the neck up"
"Oh really" I replied, "do you think it has anything to do with the cider" ?
He looked at me very serious, raised his voice to a shout, and banged his fist up and down on the bar as he replied,
" The Coider, the Coider, Of course its the Bloody Coider " #
Hiya C.P.
Jonnyv My Dad was the opposite, he used me as his guinea pig !
Hi Sparky, lucky you, I have a bad feeling that my batch has gone wrong.
Nice to meet you all then, fellow winos, cheers, Hic !
