when i made my TC i used 1 sachet (6g) of yeast its nice but rather strong my question is if i use half the amount of yeast will it result in half the strenth? or do i have to stop fermentation if so how do you do that?
Less yeast just means it's slower to ferment out or may not ferment out. More yeast will just make it go quicker.
Using less yeast may make it weaker but this is not the way to go about it. Just using less suger is the best way. Stopping fermentation at the required gravity would also work, something like a wine filter should work for this although it sounds like a faff about !
