Kegging my TC

Post by seankeggers » Wed Jul 09, 2008 10:21 pm

I'm planning to put this brew in my King Keg and dont know whats best to prime it with and how much to use. Is normal sugar good enough or could i gas in up with co2?

Go for that fizzy cider taste and use gas. If it tastes like gack when flat at least the c02 will hide it a bit

For my 20L cider brews like yours I prime with a litre or so of apple juice & leave in the KK for 2 months or more. Good stuff!

Christ, your a brave man, I wouldn't have this on tap, I'd be brown bread or in a coma within a month. One bottle of this stuff before I go to bed acts like a medicated sedative for me.

Just nearly pissed meself laughing at NickL's simple response.
Show you how thick I am. I've seen TC on plenty of postings and hadn't worked out what it stood for. Eeeee I must get out more often.
So, howay then, for a total novice, how can I make exactly what you're going to make?
Looks awfully good fun, as the mortician said to Dreamytime Escorts.

Its in the keg.

Ok it's in the keg and i've opted to prime with some normall household granulated sugar" a couple of tablespoons" but ive got some mates over friday for some beers. If it hasnt aquired the desired fizz would it be ok to add some co2 aswell?
