made up a sugar wash
4.5lt water
500g sugar
25ml lemon juice.
youngs super wine yeast

10days of mad frementing.

primed using high juice 1/4 in each 500ml bottle (2lts summer fruits, 2lts apple) still cloudy going to give a week to carbonate then to the fridge. last batch i just transfered it to another demijon w/juice and had something similar to koppenberg mixed fruit

Sounds nice! Let me know how that workd out for you,

When you ferment it in the demi-jon, how do you seal it?

just a rubber bung and normal airlock. sounded like gargling for first 12-24 hours then its steady for the next week. airlock lets out every 5-8 seconds @ 20oC

Right mines gargling away at the moment.

So after a week, should I bottle it in something else? Or can I just bung a normal bung in the top of my demi-john?

Half pints   Is it that strong?
I may opt for the Grolsch bottles then.... I'm assuming it'll need priming...
