I used all of the things you mentioned, except Champagne yeast instead.
I need to ask everyone else....
What temperature do I need to keep it at which stages..
Also I believe I need to keep it in the demijohn for a week and then bottle it... but I've also heard of people drinking it straight out of the Demi-john.
So.... after a week do I need to put a normal bong on top of the demi-john?
Thanks!
Don't imagion it will be as tasty if it's not all apple juice, the colour of mine looks good, watered down it wouldn't look quite so nice.youngbrewer wrote:does it matter the type of honey you use i.e could it be tesco vale type stuff
And do you have to have 5 liters of apple juice or could you use half juice half water etc
just ideas im throwing around
Hi Youngbrewer
BTW hope you not too young to be drinking this stuff!
Use 100% apple juice, it's cheap enough!
As and experiment I recently made a batch with 3 litres of juice and one and a half litres of water - it's Crap! All my previous 100% juice brews have been great. This ones going to end up as drain cleaner

Exciting times!!!
Mine's bubbling away merrily to itself!!
If this works ok I can just see me having a rolling DJ or 2 on the go, the wife like cider
Is pear juice expensive? Paula prefers Perry tbh so I'll be looking into this shortly..... I've seen someone's added a ltr or pear juice to the mix.... hope that works well.

The strength will depend on what yeast your using and the bottling conditions I suppose.youngbrewer wrote:Update::
DJ Ordered should be here tomorrow
Airlocks here
just need apple juice and yeast now and im away
So how strong is this stuff???????
is there any way you can not make it as strong???
I'm using champagne yeast for mine, which is going to be interesting!
10-15% maybe?
