Solomon Grundy Bilberry Wine

Just knocked this one up this evening. Another simple 6 bottle kit. It's classed as a 7 day effort, but I'm taking no notice of that shite. It'll be ready when it's ready. Bought it cos it was cheap and it'll give me a bit more experience. Having said that when you look at wine recipes they're no more complicated than the kits, if anything most are easier.
Also made up Alan66's recipe off here

Pretty much followed what he did, added about a qtr teaspoon of citric acid, gave it a bloody good shake, Robert's your dad's brother.
Eeeeh, it's great fun this brewing lark.

Bottled this filth yesterday. Instructions recommended 430g of sugar to be added prior to bottling. Thought this would make it a bit too sweet, so made up a solution of 210g with 100ml water, boiled and cooled. Added this to the second demi before siphoning the first in. When bottled it made 5 1/2 bottles. Small swig I had tasted very sweet. I'll give it a few months.
