Has anybody made slider - a combination of sloe gin and cider? I made some sloe gin a year ago and was left with the fruity sediment at the bottom of the demijohn along with a pint of gin after drawing the rest into bottles. Someone suggested placing some scrump cider into the demijohn along with the fruity sediment and gin and leaving it for a month. He reckons that he has done this in the past and called the resulting drink "Slider". I would imagine that is would be a nice rich, rosy colour with a sweetish taste and would probably make a nice liqueur.
Have you ever made this??
