Hi there, i have just bottled my wine tonight and used plastic corks instead of real corks and as i was pushing them in they seem very tight ,so what i am wondering have i done a stupid thing and are these going to be an arse top get out?
any help please.

Yes they are with some bottles, their is a slight difference in bottle sizes used in commercial wineries, some of the plastic bungs will fit and remove easily, the others will be a real pain and you may need nutcrackers or pliers to remove them.
Use corks if you can or if not storing long term screw caps.

cool,i wish i had brought corks now hopefully they wont be to much of a pain.
