Right, I am wine bottling some of my real cider (flat), beer bottling and priming some of it (fizzy), and I plan to keg some of it up.
My question is this - I have a cheap, white plastic "generic" keg - will the plastic add any off flavours to the cider if i plan to drink it about 4 months after kegging? I will prime it a little to ensure a C02 layer.
I Need Some Advice On kegging Cider
Re: I Need Some Advice On kegging Cider
no, if it's good enough for 1 minute, it'll be good enough for a few months.
so long as you avoid aeration & infection you'll be fine.
I've got 3 pressure barrels full of cider which will be left for the foreseeable future.

Great - thanks for the advice. I have an S30 so i'll keep the barrel topped with c02.
