I'm making a batch of Ginger wine and Ginger and chilli TC. They have both been in a bucket on the pulp for 1 week. I transferred them to a DJ today.
The yeast I used was a out of date Youngs super wine yeast as that's all I had. I rehydrated the yeast for an hour at 25 deg before adding to the mix.
I noticed a lot left over in the bucket which I have never seen or at leader noticed before.
Any connects would be great.
Oh, they both seem to be bubbling away happily
Thanks.

Re: Left over yeast in my pulp buckets.
That won't be yeast. The Youngs Super Wine Yeast is "super wine yeast compound" i.e. it's yeast but has some nutrient material in there too. It's likely non-soluble nutrients of some sort......
Re: Left over yeast in my pulp buckets.
Nice one thanks. I did know the nutrients were included but ever put 2 and 2 together.
Thanks.
Thanks.
