I have one of these as a californian conisseur, its in my new fermenter, its been in there for about 3 weeks now.
Thing is, i know 100% i put the yeast in, and there was a little mess on the top as usual, but i normally notice a bad sell in my room when wine is brewing. I never checked it really but now the gravity is 0.99, i have only tried a little bit on a spoon and im just not sure its fermented!
As 0.99 said it is, but i never noticed it fermenting, or noticed the water trap going. Maybe its not sealed propery int eh new fermenter,,, i dont know...
what do you think please?

If it's dropped to 0.99, then it's definitely fermented. I would assume, as you have, that the lid or airlock on the FV isn't fully sealed.

i dont know why that is then , i have an identicle one with a nother brew in it i have used 30? times, and its been fine...
0.99 then i can stop panacing !!
