Chicken with ale

I cooked a roasted chicken today whilst under the influence of pedigree, strong pale ale and ruddles county.


It tasted great!!!!!!

Sounds delicious - did you get as far as eating the chicken?

my uncle who lives in america told me that they cook chicken with a can of beer. they just open the can and put the chicken over it, as in standing the chicken on its end with the can in its orifice right way up. then just turn the oven on till its cooked.
complete waste of good beer if you ask me !

You could try increasing the ale and leaving out the chicken to improve it

true, when he said beer i thought he meant beer, but thinking about it he probably did mean that horrible stuff.

Truly, if there is anything we Yanks should be reviled for, it should be that we've managed to actually export Budweiser, Coors, and Miller to other countries. There have been many other offenses, but this has to be the worst.

actually i remember going through a phase fo drinking coors and loving it , i wouldnt drink anything else ! weird! mind you i was a teenager then so it may have been hormones
