Instant Soup Recipes

Hey everybody,

I recently bought a box of cheap instant soup for snacks and was slightly dissapointed to find that 1) It would take 3 packets out of the 4 to fill my mug and 2) The very high salt content. So, after a little searching and one taster so far, I've decided to post a recipe. I'll add more when I try out my recipes. All of my mugs are pints or more by the way.

To make 1 pint:

Spiced Soup - A warming soup, leaves a soft tingle in your mouth.

1 Stock Cube (Beef/Chicken/Veg/Fish)
1 tablespoon of Ground Mixed Spice
Salt to taste
(Optional) 50-100ml of beer and/or cider for some extra body
Southern Brewing


FV 1 (5 gallon): Nothing
FV 2 (5 gallon): Nothing

Commercial: More booze than some local pubs.

High salt content, lol. A stock cube has a ton of salt and then add salt to taste...looks more like spiced salt stock than soup... :=P

dude you've just flavoured a salt, sorry stock cube, that's not soup.

Isn't that what Instant Soup is mainly? Flavoured stock? :P
