hey phil, couldn't you use the same type of setup used on a counterflow chiller(t-coupling and reducer) to have a tube into the conical(as if it were the wort line) to act as your beer draw off and the other part of the t(the cooling water line) as the trub and yeast draw?

i know why you stick to plastic,they're very good reasons as well, I just thought you might have improved on the self build plastic conical designs out there. bet you could do it. I dare you. 8)
