Hey Vossy,

I work a few doors down from TheBrewShop. They tend to be a bit pricey but its dead handy if I need anything in a hurry :D

I went into the brew shop in Stockport the other day. Perhaps I picked a bad day but the two guys in the shop seemed more interested in packing stuff to post out than serving me. But then I have probably been spoiled by John and Hop and Grape

Do they know you EB?

I was in there today. You find yourself in mid conversation and they'll just flit off to another person. I think it's because they know they've got your business, though that's not what I call good customer service :(

They could try harder

Incedently, my wifes not as forgiving of that attitude as I am...one look and they know....as only wifeys can

No, that's the first time I had been in there since moving down to the peaks. It was their chance to make a good impression. I had a good look around the shop though. What are they like for supplying grain?

Hi EB, Very good. Have a look at their web prices and then compare to others.

I recently placed a large grain order at the Hop Shop. I told Peter and Mark at Stockport and they had kittens...like they would.

They told me that they will price match anything I find, within reason 8)

I paid £26.95 from the Hop Shop for 25kg of Maris Otter....I thought it was a good deal

J-Y, I fish in France a lot and good beer isn't easy to come by....you must be the exception....unless Krony and Stella aren't the norm

JY, is that this Tuckers?
They seem to sell in smaller quantities to HBers.
