I caught the link for this on another forum earlier today. The guy who made it received a lot of flack regarding sanitisation but that aside I reckon he did a good job of showing how straight forward AG can be.

I thought that was a pretty good video; it wasn't the most comprehensive of mashing explanations, but then that wasn't the point. Why were they criticising his sanitation? Because he didn't show it or mention if?

That was good - he certainly was Mr laid back which is a good thing when brewing.
Also liked his choice of mash tun given the artic conditions - half expected eskimobobs head to pop up at any minute :D

I liked his style. I don't think I'd stick a hydrometer in the brew without sanitising it first. It'd be good if he did more like it but a little bit more in depth.

Good info showing how easy it is.

The brew cam is good but too much time watching nothing.

Yes, after watching this myself and knowing I'll have to do this in time to come, I too noticed a lack of sanitising! Which is not a good sign if a soon to be novice knows that he should be cleaning things rather than jus bunging it in.

That's my pointless rant/comment

It was a good video. Shows just how simple brewing AG is.

Never used hop pellets before so was wondering how he would drain his boiler (I hear they block up hop filters quickly and easily!) Was shocked to see him just pour it straight from the boiler into the fermenter. Good that all the hot break was left behind as well.....
