Hi just got some of this, first its not crushed, will it be ok in the mash? second what ratio is acceptable for pale ales?
no palate, no patience.

Less than 10% for pales. I think it does need to be crushed though.. I don't use it often, maybe someone else will know better.

10% could leave you with an overpowering torrified taste, I'd go for no more than 5-6%.

Torrified wheat is popped like popcorn, so it doesn't need crushing.

3-5% is about right as a head enhancer.

Accidentally put 15% of torrified wheat in a brew instead of malted wheat.

Ace alright, not a complete disaster then. Mixed with the rye and a lot of citrusy hops, could turn out pretty interesting!
Might look into some fining to knock out that protein haze
