Its supposed to be greg hughes american wheat beer, looks much darker in the book
3KG wheat malt
2.5kg pilsner malt (instead of larger malt)
300g Carapils
Only thing I changed was using pilsner malt instead of lager malt.
Ignore beer on right, thats Northern monk Eternal xD Bloody lovely
Colour of this beer right ?
Re: Colour of this beer right ?
I wouldn't worry about it. Even if you'd used the same malt, it could look different, the printed image is highly unlikely to be an accurate representation of the subject.

Re: Colour of this beer right ?
Looks like the same colour as mine (i did the wietbier one so no carapils)
And i think theres no major between pilsner and lager malt in terms of ebc just how its malted (floor) and where and varity of barley used.
Looking at the grain bill as previously none of the grains go above 8ebc so id expect a very light coloured beer

Re: Colour of this beer right ?
I find that my pale beers tend to darken between fermentation starting and being ready to drink. Not entirely sure why. But I agree with Sadfield - I wouldn't worry about it.
Fermenting: AG#22 San Diego IPA

Doubt you will taste the colour difference, colour is something I rarely care about unless it's a clone and even then a slight shade is good enough.

Re: Colour of this beer right ?
There is little to no colour in any of those ingredients, so looks about right to me.
Best wishes
