Belto, well done with your 1st AG, it is addictive mind you.

Promash says that if you add 5 litres of water to your 15 of wort, you will get a OG of 1041, (20 litres of beer) which if ferments out to a FG of 1010 you will get an ABV of about 4%, so really it's your choice, strength or quantity, or somewhere in between. (if you manage to ferment it down to 1006 you will be getting around 4.5% ABV)

Good stuff Belto.

It will all be worth it when you taste it mate, sampling my first ag as we speak still a couple of weeks till it fully matures but by 'eck it's gorgeous.

Number two in primary fermenter and that was so much easier and less stressful. stuck to a clone receipe to get used to the equipment.

Hi Guys an update on my first AG brew on brew mat upto temp and removed all dark brown trub (is it callled)?
what's the next step? How many days
Disapointed at the resulting quantity 75% of the plastic barrel
