Sounds like it's worked out well for you.

Love the idea of freshly harvested seaweed as copper finings!

What does ABC at 6.5 mean, please?

Guy
I assumed that was meant to be EBC.

Sorry for the long delay but it was meant to be ABC.. I've 3.5kg left on this bag but as this was my first Pale malt which has been great,I shall order some Marris otter maybe to compare results.[BEER MUG]

Just looking through this post and your correct it should have been V.
Tried MO and now experimenting with a whole lot of grains to be honest.
Would need to focus on my stout and perfect it but have moved on from the stove top and upgraded a few bits and pieces to a 32 litre pot,52 litre coolbox which has been converted and just took possession of a 30 litre Burco boiler so as to put an efficient if not effective setup together.
Must mind to be a more frequent visitor.

I'm on my second sack of Minch and it's worked out fine for me. But it has already been said watch for the dough balls. I had no problems with mash runnoff whatsoever. Price is good, in fact the shipping is cheap considering where it comes from, try it as a one off. I didn't go for euro price as the £ss were still good, can't remember exactly possibly around £19 + PP.
