Some good advice here. With 6-7 weeks you could go a little above 'sessionable'. I'm not sure about a Pilsner, but a Kolsch is doable.

you could just about do a decent pilsener in that time, obviously a week or 2 more would be good , the greg hughes czech pilsener is a very good recipe. The main thing i find with lager fermenting is have plenty of yeast , not much of a problem if your doing 20L , throw in 2 x fermentisw34/70 and your good to go , any bigger and i think youd have to get a starter made up or use a decent ammount of slurry.

I recently brewed a lager and used this "quick lager" fermentation schedule, which shaved some time off the usual... http://brulosophy.com/methods/lager-method/
It's not quite ready to serve as i need to get an empty keg sorted, but tasting good so far

Nottingham at lower temperatures will do an excellent pilsner for mates.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

Temperature control is important during active primary fermentation for most ales. So you could get another one on.

I did an extract "pilsner" with Wyeast Pacman yeast at room temperature that came out pretty good. You can read about it in the Mar/Apr 2016 Zymurgy (Last Drop).
I'm just here for the beer.

No. It got a score of 37 in a competition as a pilsner.

Neat, well done. I've never made a lager before, as I've not had fermentation temp control before, but might take a stab at something like that then. I'm especially fond of smoked lagers heh.
