Maybe a very big leap

Post by Will.1973 » Wed May 03, 2017 2:59 pm

Hey all joined last night and posted a hello as a Kit brewer but after reading a lot of posts on here i have just went a bit mad and purchased a Grainfather. I have no AG brewing experience at all but after also watching some videos it looks like it helps a lot with what to do via bluetooth and XML files. Could someone maybe point me in the right direction for recipes and also places to buy bulk grains, hops and also best yeasts to use if not using starter/harvested yeasts (if correct terms). I am happy i have made this move but MY WIFES GONNA KILL ME!!! when she gets home :) I look forward to really taking my brewing to a different level here and also looking forward to reading up on others brews. Cheers guys

And thus it starts... :D

I can't tell you anything about a one pot system, but check out The Malt Miller for all your malt, hops, yeast and sundry needs. I've always had great service from them.

Cheers,
I like beer --- Currently rebuilding the brewery, this time with stainless...

Will,
Scroll down the main Forum page to find the Grainfather thread.
That should help you.

Also well worth making yourself known at your 'local' Home Brew shop if you have one. Great source of advice, info' and finding out what's new - certainly the case at Hop & Grape in Darlington where I always call in to get my stuff - 35 mile round trip but worth it.
